When word got out that York-based Bailey Coach was sending three buses to Texas for flood relief efforts, it became clear that filling them with donated goods would be a benefit.
Team members from Shipley Energy were part of a community wide effort to collect donated items to assist whose affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Yorkers coordinated on social media to bring items to a staging area to be loaded on the buses. Bailey Coaches left York on Monday, Aug. 28, with 60,000 pounds of bottled water, canned food and clothes to assist Texans hit by Harvey.
