Shipley Energy Receives John A. Arnold Award for Safety Excellence Among Raffles Insurance Members

Shipley Energy is proud to announce that it has received the prestigious John A. Arnold Award of Honor for attaining the highest score in overall safety performance among Raffles Insurance, LTD. 385 members. The award was presented to Shipley Energy’s CEO, Dave Gruno, and Safety and Environmental Manager, Andrew Walker, by Bob Borden, Director of Raffles Insurance, LTD.

Regarding the award, John Sobecki, Senior Vice President of Captive Resources to Raffles Captive Insurance Group, stated, “Each year, Raffles Insurance recognizes, through an award system, outstanding achievements in safety and loss control. These awards are presented annually in a variety of industry categories to the partners who have achieved the safest work environment for their employees and their customers. The John A. Arnold Award of Honor is named in memory of John A. Arnold of Petroleum Products Corporation, who, during Raffles’ early years, served as its risk control chairperson and president. Arnold worked tirelessly as an advocate for safety, exemplifying Raffles’ core values of “refer, participate, prevent and control losses.”
