Mauger Energy: Donation to Victory Therapeutic Horsemanship

On Monday, May 23rd, 2022, Mauger Energy hosted our annual Golf Outing to raise money benefiting the veterans of Pennsylvania. Individuals and businesses across Pennsylvania joined us at Penn Oaks Golf Club, enjoying a beautiful day on the course and each other’s company.

After a successful 18 holes, we were thrilled to have raised over $8,000 for Pennsylvania’s veterans. The Mauger Energy Team decided Victory Therapeutic Horsemanship would be the best organization to receive the donation due to its incredible mission and dedication to helping veterans live the best life after returning home.

About Victory Therapeutic Horsemanship

“Victory Therapeutic Horsemanship is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded to provide veterans in central Pennsylvania a much-needed equine therapy program. Studies have repeatedly shown that therapeutic riding has a massive positive effect on combat veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), and coping with pain and physical injuries. Through working with horses, we aim to empower our veterans and offer a gratifying outlet in which to work through their ailments.  Equine therapy is proven to improve the quality of life of veterans and their families.”

On October 18th, 2022, Lori McGovern of Mauger Energy traveled to Victory Therapeutic Horsemanship to present our donation and sincerest gratitude to the organization. The Mauger Energy team was ecstatic to hear that the $8,000 donation will cover six months of care for the horses!
