Interning with Shipley Energy as a Safety Intern has been a rewarding experience. From day one, I was welcomed and mentored, not just by my departmental team but everyone I encountered. Throughout my internship, I have been trusted with impactful projects that contributed to the company beyond the surface-level tasks most interns typically receive. The opportunities for involvement at Shipley Energy have shaped my professional and personal development. These experiences have helped me build a strong foundation for a fruitful career that complemented my education.

From the first day of my internship with Shipley Energy, I could tell that this company was a perfect fit for me. Being someone that is generally resistant to change, walking into a new environment with new faces was a nerve-racking experience. Welcomed by open arms and approachable individuals, that quickly subsided any apprehension I had. I have never been a part of an organization that has been so supportive, helpful and including, like the Shipley team has been with me. Along with this, the opportunity to do meaningful and purposeful work has provided me with experience that is second to none. All in all I want to thank the entire Shipley organization for allowing me to be a part of their team this summer and cannot wait to watch their growth over the coming years.

Interning at Shipley Energy has truly been a remarkable and valuable learning experience, with each day anticipating excitement, engagement, and opportunities for meaningful contributions. Shipley Energy goes beyond to ensure its interns are actively involved and continuously learning, while also fostering a strong commitment to its company culture and employee wellbeing. At Shipley Energy, it is much more than “another day of work,” as each day offers opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally, have fun, and develop genuine connections. For the experience, the skills gained, and the three additional job opportunities that it prepared me for, I am incredibly grateful for my time at Shipley Energy.

I've been a part of the Shipley Energy Family for twenty-seven years. I especially love the relationships I've built along the way with my co-workers and customers. I love the flexibility of being out and about in the community daily, and that no two work days are the same. The wages and benefits are competitive in the industry and the opportunities for growth and development are endless!

In my eight years as a driver for Shipley, I never felt like just another number. My managers had my back and I was supported with proper training and certifications. In addition to competitive wages, there were also bonuses and opportunities for extra pay. Since transitioning into management, I’ve experienced tremendous support from the entirely Shipley team. As I continue to grow, my goal is to make sure the drivers on my team have the same experience I did.

It's a great feeling to be part of this essential service. The daily possibility of interpersonal communication with our Customers is a very rewarding experience that creates a positive impact on our clients.
