Meet Steve – Director of Delivered Fuel Operations

In July, Steve will be celebrating 16 years at Shipley Energy! He started as a commercial natural gas sales representative and spent the next 7 years in commercial sales and customer care leadership. He has now been a part of the operations team for 6 years!

We asked Steve a few questions to get to know him better…

 

Where are you from?

Dover, PA

 

What do you enjoy the most about your job at Shipley Energy?

I get to interact with so many team members with different responsibilities. Starting with the drivers and techs, to finance, sales, HR, customer care, and everything in between.

 

What are you most thankful for?

My family.

 

What is something interesting that no one knows about you?

I am a savant when it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ history and knowledge of wine.

 

What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?

I’ve always enjoyed sports so I think it would be cool to combine sports and business and be a sports agent.

 

Who is your favorite TV or movie character?

Any of the main characters from Seinfeld.
