LED Lights: Holiday Energy Saver

It’s that time of year again, Thanksgiving has come and gone and the stress of the holiday season has quickly arrived; well not this year!

If you’re having a hard time deciding between colored or white bulbs, contemporary or traditional; it might be best to simply follow what’s trending this year to find your inspiration!

The clear winner this year in the lighting category goes to the C9 light bulb or as most would put it, light bulbs with more of a traditional look. Major retailers are even following suit and are using the C9 traditional bulbs to light up their sweater and sale displays. Who would have guessed that a bigger light bulb would make our decision to buy a Christmas sweater that much easier?!

Customers are returning to their roots and enjoying the look of traditional glass bulbs to outline their houses this season as well. While at the same time taking advantage of the latest technology and are especially interested in the energy saving LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs. While not exactly the same look as a traditional glass bulb, customers like their modern appeal.

Some interesting facts that might sway your opinion when it comes to Christmas lights:

  • LED lights use at least 75 percent less energy than incandescent bulbs.
  • LED lights last 35 to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs.
  • LEDs can direct light where it is needed.
  • LEDs are very durable and unlike any other bulb they have no breakable glass or filaments.
  • Fluorescent lights contain a small amount of mercury which is extremely hazardous to both humans and the environment; LEDs however are completely safe and do not contain any amount of mercury.

So whether you want to go with white or colored bulbs this year, choose the C9 LEDs and light up your house for under $5.00 dollars this year!
