Shipley is dedicated to remaining a vital and responsible company and participates in our community in many ways:
- Shipley Energy will be the presenting sponsor for New Year's Revolution 2011
- For the past two years, Shipley has hosted the Great Green America Fest Education Day, where students are given tree saplings and energy-saving tips to share
- Shipley Fuel-O-Copter rides at the Balloon Fest raise money for the company’s annual donation to the York County Parks and Recreation Center
- Shipley Energy collects and distributes toys for Holiday Family Outreach
- Shipley is a platinum sponsor of the York Area Sports Night and sponsors the Shipley Achievement Award
- Shipley volunteers participate in Junior Achievement’s Cra-Z Rockin’ Bowl event
- The Shipley Care Fund is a combination of donations from associates and customers to help those in need of heat in the wintertime
- Shipley organized the Enviro-thon to generate energy conservation efforts in the York area, in which all local schools competed
- Yowza water is a public supporter for the “Just One” campaign to get drunk drivers off the roads
- Tom’s Stores donated 25 cents from every cup of coffee sold to the memorial Reid Menzer Skate Park
- Shipley Energy, Tom’s Stores and Yowza water supported FOX 43’s “Ride & Rally” to help York residents fight to keep their jobs at the Harley Davidson plant
- The Shipley Scholarship of $5,000 was awarded to Natalie Garman of Huntingdon
